Here’s the latest update you need to know about “Vhong Navarro - Roxanne Acosta Cabanero – Deniece Cornejo” rape case from ABS-CBN’s Buzz ng Bayan.
Buzz ng Bayan on Sunday, March 2, 2014, revealed new details about Roxanne Acosta Cabanero and Deniece Cornejo, the two rape complainants of actor Vhong Navarro.
Show host Boy Abunda details inconsistencies, changes and additional statement of Cabanero and Cornejo to the widely-discussed rape issue involving Vhong Navarro. He also interviewed Atty. Lorna Kapun to break down the consequences and its effect to the rape case.
It was recalled that Deniece Cornejo said she was raped by Navarro not once but twice. Cornejo revealed to DOJ prosecuting panel that Navarro first sexually assaulted her when they were together in Forbeswood Heights condo unit on January 17, 2014.
Roxanne Acosta Cabanero on the other hand, makes changes on her statement including the hotel name, date and time of her alleged rape incident.
Atty. Alma Mallonga, the legal council of Navarro, believes that the camp of Cabanero is now trying to adjust after new evidence came out. ’Ano ‘to lokohan?’ she said.
